Following a corporate career with Nissan Motor Company, Cable and Wireless and BT, where Trevor held a number of senior sales, marketing and logistics positions roles, Trevor and his wife, Sam, set up an IT consultancy, Mezenet, in 1997.
Mezenet became the UK’s leading provider of SAP Business Intelligence Solutions to corporate customers, including Unilever, the BBC and Novartis. Having grown revenues to c. £4,000,000 Trevor sold Mezenet to Unilog, the fifth largest IT consultancy in France, in December 2003.
In October 2005, following his surprise at the lack of care available for his grandfather Trevor purchased the UK Master Franchise for Home Instead Senior Care, a company that specialises in providing a range of personal, home help and companionship care services to older people. Helping them to live at own home for as long as possible.
Over the last four years the company has expanded rapidly and now has more than 40 offices countrywide, generating a combined annual turnover in excess of £10,000,000 and employing c.1000 carers and office staff.
This rapid success has been acknowledged with a number of awards, including Barclays National Start Up Business of the Year 2008 and the NHS NW Dignity In Care Award also in 2008. More recently, in the 2009 BFA Franchisor of the Year awards, they won the HSBC Award for Enterprise.
Trevor is also a qualified business coach and has five children.
