Rob Hamilton, Founder and Managing Director of the Instant Offices Group, founded the Instant Offices Group in May 1999 to amalgamate the fragmented serviced offices sector into one online marketplace, bringing the power of the internet into what was a slow-moving and traditional industry. He has since grown the group to be the largest internet gateway to flexible offices by market share in every key market in the world, providing a global service to over 200,000 customers, including over 50% of FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Instant Offices Group has grown by over 100% year-on-year since 2001, and is forecast to have a turnover of £30m in 2009. Today, the company has an 80-strong workforce based in its London, Miami and Sydney offices, with representative offices in France, Germany, Japan and China.

Rob’s successes as an entrepreneur and as business leader have won him and Instant Offices Group a gallery of prestigious awards. In 2008, Instant Offices Group powered into The Sunday Times’ Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For league, in recognition of the group's proven strengths as an excellent employer, and featured in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league of fastest growing private UK companies; won the HR Excellence Award for the Growing Business category; and was named as one of only four companies to feature in the shortlist for the National Business Awards’ City & Guilds Employer of the Year category. Again in 2008, Rob featured in the shortlist of semi-finalists for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of The Year Award 2008, for the London region. In 2007, he featured in the Top 10 of Courvoisier's Future 500 (in partnership with The Observer) for new and upcoming individuals in the highly-competitive Business category. In the same year, he won the Growing Business Young Guns award, which lists the brightest entrepreneurial potential in the UK.

Prior to founding the Instant Offices Group, Rob was Associate Partner at Chapman Swabey, now part of GVA Grimley, the international property advisor. He graduated in Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University, qualified as a Chartered Surveyor during his tenure at Atis Real (a European real estate property company) and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Rob is 35 years old and is married with one child.
